Bill 32: the Restoring Balance in Alberta's Workplaces Act was introduced on July 7, 2020 to provide employees and employers with clearer and more flexible rules about averaging agreements, hours of work, rest periods and temporary layoff notices. Most of the changes made to Code will come into effect from November 1, 2020. Kate will walk us through what we need to know and be available to answer questions. Join using the following link:

Influenza immunization is more important this season, than ever before.

All Albertans, six months of age and older, are eligible to be immunized, free of charge; however, this year, AHS is working with pharmacists and physicians to offer immunization to different age groups and demographics. Find out more about how to get your shot locally. 
Pincher Creek receives Communities in Bloom Awards
October 8, 2020
Today, at the virtual Communities Bloom Conference the Town of Pincher Creek won two first place awards in the following categories; the Best Floral Display and the Urban Forestry Award.   Rhonda Oczkowski, from the Town of Pincher Creek recreation team along with the Communities in Bloom committee watched the awards together live online.   Pincher Creek competed with communities across all of Canada for this year’s awards.

Snow Accommodation Policy:
October 1, 2020

The Town of Pincher Creek recognizes the need to assist persons 65 years of age and over who are physically disabled and/or are on Alberta Seniors Benefit with clearing snow, ice and other winter debris from public accessible sidewalks adjacent to their property. Residents in need of this service must meet the following requirements and submit an application to the Town Office.
