Entering into Spring, many people plan a sale to move the stuff that's been piling up in their house, yard or garage. However, garage sales have many high touch items and enable an environment for mass gatherings, both of which could promote the spread of COVID-19. The current Provincial Public Health Ministerial Order ( prevents mass gatherings in an attempt to limit activates that could promote disease transmission.
As such, the Town of Pincher Creek will not be issuing garage sale permits, other municipal areas will be monitored.
