Busing Survey

May 17, 2017

In 2014, the Town of Pincher Creek transportation committee identified 5 primary transportation challenges facing the Town of Pincher Creek. One of these challenges, which has been raised by numerous residents many times to Mayor and Council is that of student bussing. Challenges have been raised by parents with children walking to our local schools which include their children potentially facing wildlife, inclement weather and walk distance from school. With Provincial funding only available for students who reside 2.4KM or farther from their school, there are a number of families in town who would like to access a bussing solution for their children if one were available.

The Transportation Committee has been investigating the possibility of providing a fee for service solution to those children residing 1.6 - 2.4km walking distance from their school.

We encourage your family to complete the this survey prior to June 30, 2017.
