There are two ways to make an information request with the Town of Pincher Creek.
First, you should contact the department that you think has the information. If the information is 'routinely available' you will be provided with copies. Depending on the information you are seeking, there may be fees.
The second way is through the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP). FOIP requests are required when the information contains content that is protected under the Act. To make a request under the Act, it must be in writing and there is an initial $25 application fee for 'general' information, and there are generally no costs if you're seeking information about yourself.
