Memorial Community Centre Arena

 



The Memorial Community Centre Arena was opened in 1963 and renovated in 1974 to host events for the Canada Winter Games. The winter Arena season runs from October 1 to March 31 and offers a wide variety of tournaments, games, drop-in opportunities and special events.

Memorial Community Centre Arena Features

  • Public and Family skating are free during the 2015/16 winter season thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Royal Canadian Legion, Rotary Club, Napi Friendship Centre and Pincher Creek Co-op
  • private parties and rentals available
  • in the off season, the facility is available for trade-shows, farmers markets and concerts

Out of Town Tournaments 
We have a fabulous facility and are happy to host out of town tournaments.  Our community has partnered together to create some hockey specific deals and discounts to encourage you to come experience to the famous southern Alberta hospitality that the Town of Pincher Creek offers.  Our 2015 Tournament Package is available by clicking here or by contacting our Recreation Office on 403 627 4322.

Youth Program Pincher Creek

The Town of Pincher Creek is pleased to provide Free Annual Swim Pass Membership to all youth in Grades 7, 8, and 9 in the Town and M.D. of Pincher Creek in the fall of 2016**.  This initiative, brought forward by the Pincher Creek & District Recreation Advisory Committee, will provide an opportunity for youth to become more physically active and to help encourage long-term healthy habits while helping reduce financial barriers to these opportunities.
