Municipal Campground

Pincher Creek campground to open May 17, 2021

The Veteran’s Memorial Campground will be transitioning to a partial opening on June 1st, 2020.  This decision has been planned out based on advice from Alberta Health Services, direction from the Province of Alberta and Government of Canada and coordination with the Town of Pincher Creek, and the Pincher Creek Regional Emergency Management Organization.  Click HERE for Covid-19 Guidelines

The Town of Pincher Creek boasts a well-maintained, municipally operated campground that is ideally located near all Town amenities. Campers will enjoy the quiet and scenic creek-side location, along with a nearby walkway system and recreational opportunities.

The campground is great for cyclists, boaters, motorists, RV's, visitors passing through, or local families needing to “get away” for a weekend.


Veterans’ Memorial Campground:

  • Scenically located by the creek and walkway system
  • Close to all Town amenities
  • 7 fully serviced sites (power, sewer and water)
  • 11 electrical service only sites
  • Basic camping sites available
  • Flush toilet washrooms and free shower facilities available
  • Registrations and drop-ins welcome (on-site host with gates closing at 11 p.m.)
  • Firewood is available for purchase

  • No Hook-Up: $25.00
  • Electrical Only: $30.00

TOWN OF PINCHER CREEK MASK MANDATE TO ALLIGN WITH PROVINCE MANDATE
June 29, 2021
At the Monday, June 28 Council meeting Council for the Town of Pincher Creek unanimously passed three readings of the Obsolete and Redundant Repeal Bylaw No. 1628-21 for the purpose to repeal the Temporary Mandatory Face Coverings Bylaw, Bylaw No. 1628-20.
