Winter Street Maintenance

The Town of Pincher Creek provides priorities for the control of ice and snow conditions on streets and sidewalks, based on the resources available.

Fall 2019:
Our team receives a lot of requests for the snow removal team to lift their blade when passing by driveways during snow removal. Here is a quick video clip of the new grader in action and how driveways are approached. Your driveway may have some snow piled at the curb however this method, as you can see, greatly reduces the snow accumulation.

We would like to remind residents that if you have a snow removal comment, compliment or request please contact the Town Office 403 627 3156 or www.pinchercreek.ca/request.
Please DO NOT approach working equipment or operators for your safety and theirs.

Thank you to everyone for your patience while the snow is cleared as per our Winter Street Maintenance Policy. More info here: http://bit.ly/35NhDcQ

Driveway, Curb and Gutters

The Town of Pincher Creek Driveway, Curb and Gutter Replacement Policy (301) determines the responsibility of the homeowner when requesting curbs or sidewalks to be taken out for a driveway.

Topsoil for Boulevards

The Town of Pincher Creek will not provide topsoil for the town-owned boulevard portion of residences and commercial businesses.

Spring Run-off

The Town of Pincher Creek will review areas of known flooding each spring, and make every attempt to prevent or mitigate flooding from Town-owned property onto private property.
