Dog Licence Form

A dog license is required for all dogs over the age of six months in the Town of Pincher Creek. 

Spayed/Neutered dogs $15/year
Non Spayed/Neutered $30/year

There is no charge for Service Dogs, however they still need to be registered with the Town.  
Licenses are available by calling the Town Office or submitting the below form via email. 
Volunteer compliance greatly appreciated to avoid penalties.

Your dog’s tag will help in returning your dog home if they ever become lost!
Please remember to always scoop the poop!

Typically dog licences are completed in person at the Town Office, due to COVID-19 walk-in restrictions we have created a temporary form to obtain a licence.  Please click on the link below to obtain a NEW dog permit.  Please call 403 627 3156 to renew exisiting permits.

Influenza immunization is more important this season, than ever before.

All Albertans, six months of age and older, are eligible to be immunized, free of charge; however, this year, AHS is working with pharmacists and physicians to offer immunization to different age groups and demographics. Find out more about how to get your shot locally. 
Pincher Creek receives Communities in Bloom Awards
October 8, 2020
Today, at the virtual Communities Bloom Conference the Town of Pincher Creek won two first place awards in the following categories; the Best Floral Display and the Urban Forestry Award.   Rhonda Oczkowski, from the Town of Pincher Creek recreation team along with the Communities in Bloom committee watched the awards together live online.   Pincher Creek competed with communities across all of Canada for this year’s awards.

Snow Accommodation Policy:
October 1, 2020

The Town of Pincher Creek recognizes the need to assist persons 65 years of age and over who are physically disabled and/or are on Alberta Seniors Benefit with clearing snow, ice and other winter debris from public accessible sidewalks adjacent to their property. Residents in need of this service must meet the following requirements and submit an application to the Town Office.
