Town of Pincher Creek Council Approves 2025–2026 Multi-Year Budget

The Town of Pincher Creek Council is pleased to announce the approval of its 2025–2026 budget. Maintaining a multi-year approach, Council continues to set the stage for long-term financial stability and efficient planning.
 
In June, Council established clear guidelines for Administration, enabling the development of a balanced budget without the need for drastic cuts to service levels. Despite rising inflation nationwide, the budget reflects a 3% increase in each of the next two years, ensuring continuity of services and fiscal responsibility.

This budget reflects Council’s commitment to fiscal responsibility, proactive infrastructure management, and enhanced community amenities. Council and Administration look forward to bringing these initiatives to life.
 
The budget does not reflect any change to the fees that the Town will be required to collect on behalf of the province for the Alberta School Fund or for the support provided to Crestview Lodge for seniors housing.
