Municipal Development and Subdivision Authority

The Municipal Development and Subdivision Authority (MDSA), along with the Designated Officer, have been designated as the Town of Pincher Creek's Development Authority.

The MDSA is authorized to make decisions on applications for subdivision approvals in accordance with the Provincial Land Use policies, subdivision development regulations, the Town of Pincher Creek Land Use Bylaw, and Statutory plans.

The MDSA meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 10:00am in Town Council Chambers at 962 St John Avenue.

Recruiting Member at Large



The Town of Pincher Creek Municipal Development and Subdivision Authority (MDSA) is seeking 1 member-at-large to serve on the Authority. Applicants must be 18 years of age or over and a resident in the Town of Pincher Creek.  Appointments to the MDSA shall be made by resolution of Council.
 
The MDSA is authorized to make decisions on applications for development approval in accordance with the administrative procedures, land uses and schedules established in the Municipal Land Use Bylaw and is authorized to make decisions on applications for subdivision approval in accordance with Provincial land use policies, subdivision development regulations, the Town of Pincher Creek Land Use Bylaw and Statutory Plans.
