Volunteers are at the heart of many organizations and events in Pincher Creek, but sometimes finding volunteers can be difficult. In an effort to make it a bit easier, the Town of Pincher Creek assists with finding volunteer opportunities.

Whether you have a need for year round volunteers, or need volunteers for a specific event, we can help! The process is simple. Complete the Volunteer Opportunity Form and return to it the Town Office.
You can either drop by the office in person, or fax it to (403) 627-4784.

Volunteer Opportunities

Southern Alberta Regional Victim Serving Society (SARVSS)

SARVSS is looking for volunteers to assist with Victim Advocacy.  You will provide on-call after-hours crisis response in partnership with, and when called upon by, the RCMP.  Your role will be to ensure provisions of support, information, and referrals to community resources.

Start Date: Any time | Duration: 1 year

Requirements:

• Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
• Attend all mandatory training programs, sessions, meetings, etc.

Estimated time commitment: 4, 12-hour Victim Advocate shifts per month for a one-year commitment

Training/Orientation Provided:

• GoA Victim Advocacy Training Program
• Ongoing training
