Family and Community Support Services Board Recruitment

The Pincher Creek & District Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is seeking 2 members-at-large to serve on the District Board. Applicants must be residents of the Town, MD, or Village of Cowley.

FCSS is a joint Provincial/Municipal funded program established to develop, support and fund locally driven preventive initiatives to enhance the well-being of individuals, families and partner communities. The Board serves to assess local community needs, receive funding proposals and determine which projects and initiatives will be funded each year. As a board member, you contribute to the community by encouraging active participation of agencies addressing local needs.

Eligibility requirements for FCSS board appointment are:

Must be 18 years of age or older
A Canadian citizen or landed Immigrant
A resident of the Town of Pincher Creek, M.D. of Pincher Creek or the Village of Cowley

Meetings: Third Monday monthly at 6:30 pm

The Family and Community Support Services Committee is governed by an agreement between Her Majesty in Right of Alberta and Town of Pincher Creek to provide for the establishment, administration, and operation of a Family and Community Support Services Program in accordance with the Family and Community Support Services Act and Regulation.
