LAND USE BYLAW AMENDMENT - LAND USE REDESIGNATION

Proposed amending Bylaw No. 1547-AU to amend Bylaw No. 1547, being the municipal Land Use Bylaw.

PURPOSE: Council of the Town of Pincher Creek is in receipt of an application to redesignate (zone) a parcel of land from Transitional Commercial – C4 to Light Industrial – I2  to allow for farm equipment, sale and service use on the subject land.
 
LOCATION: 1348 Scott Ave, legally described as Lot 4, Block 1, Plan 0614431
 
A public hearing is to be held before Council on July 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. as the municipality must prepare a corresponding bylaw and provide for its consideration at a public hearing.

A public hearing to consider the proposed Bylaw will be held in person in Council Chambers at the Town office 6:00 p.m. on July 28, 2025.

ROAD CLOSURE BYLAW

Proposed Bylaw No. 1637-25 to close to public travel and lease portions of Veterans Street

PURPOSE: Council of the Town of Pincher Creek is in receipt of an application to close a portion of Veterans Street for the purpose of leasing.
 
LOCATION: Legally described as a portion of Road Plan 1311702 of Veterans Street and Road Plan 1910167 of Scott Avenue lying East of the Southwesterly projection of the East Boundary of Road Plan 1910167 and lying West of the Southwesterly projection of the East Boundary of Lot 4, Block 1, Plan 0614431 containing 0.226 Hectares (0.56 Acres) more or less. 
 
A public hearing is to be held before Council on July 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. as the municipality must prepare a corresponding bylaw and provide for its consideration at a public hearing.
