Saddle up and join the fun at the 2026 Pincher Creek Rodeo Parade!
The Town of Pincher Creek is inviting local businesses, organizations, community groups, clubs, and non-profits to take part in this year’s parade on Saturday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. along Main Street. This year’s theme is Cowboys & Aliens — so get creative, decorate your float, vehicle, or group, and help us make Rodeo Weekend unforgettable!
Participation is free, and entries of all sizes are welcome. Whether you’re planning a float, classic car, horse entry, walking group, or community display, we’d love to have you involved.
Parade Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026
Marshalling Time: 10:00 a.m.
Start Time: 11:00 a.m.
Location: Main Street, Pincher Creek
Registration Deadline: August 7, 2026
We can’t wait to see the community come together for one of Pincher Creek’s favourite Rodeo Weekend traditions!
Important Information

NOTE: Horse trailers will require access to the Ag Grounds for the rodeo. Please DO NOT park in the No Parking Zones.

All participants must be in the line up by 10:00am.

The parade starts at 11:00am starting on the west end of Main Street and heading east.

Do not throw candy or other items from floats or vehicles, these items must be handed out by a walking participant accompanying the floats/vehicles.
Judging categories for 2026 are:

Cosmic Cruiser (Best float)

Spurs & Spaceships (Best classic car)

Little Green Buckaroo (Best youth/child entry)

The Saturn Saddle (Best horse)

Pancake Breakfast - Expression of Interest
The Town of Pincher Creek is seeking an organization interested in organizing and operating the annual Pancake Breakfast during the Pincher Creek Pro Rodeo on Saturday, August 15 in Central Park.
This long-standing community event is a great opportunity for local groups to showcase their organization, connect with residents and visitors, and be part of one of Pincher Creek’s biggest weekends of the year.
We are seeking an organization that is enthusiastic about providing a welcoming and engaging breakfast experience for several hundred attendees.
The details:

The selected organization will assume responsibility for all food procurement, preparation supplies, and BBQ/gril equipment required for the event,

The organization will set pricing for the breakfast,
-
All proceeds from the event will go directly to the hosting non-profit organization,
-
Members of Council from both the Town and the Municipal District will be in attendance to volunteer and engage with residents and visitors.
This is a great opportunity to raise funds for your organization while being part of a well-attended community event.
Interested organizations are invited to submit a brief letter of interest outlining:

2025 Rodeo Decorating Challenge for Businesses - watch for 2026 details coming soon!
Challenge: Decorate your business for Rodeo Weekend; create an inviting atmosphere for Pincher Creek guests & locals! We suggest decorating the outside of your business to invite people in and then keep them by creating a fun atmosphere inside- but it’s up to you! This year’s parade theme is Boots, Beats, and Bling!
