Postal Service Disruption

We want to ensure our residents are prepared in case postal services are interrupted for a while, which may impact various services the Town provides.
 
Here’s what that means for you:

• Utility Bills - the next bill will be in early November, click on the title to see more ways to receive and pay your bill in the event the disruption continues into November
• Cheques issued by the Town for in-town recipients will be held at the Town Office for pickup during regular business hours.
• For out-of-town recipients, alternative arrangements will be made on a case-by-case basis. Please call us to make arrangements.

Options for receiving your utility bill:

• Sign up for eBilling: Receive your utility bill directly in your email inbox. You can sign up by emailing utilities@pinchercreek.ca with the following information:
  • Utility account number
  • Customer name
  • Service address
  • Valid email address
• Pick up your bill in person: Visit the Town of Pincher Creek Office (962 St John Avenue) during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.
• Request an email copy: Contact our Utilities Clerk by phone at 403-627-3156 or email utilities@pinchercreek.ca to have your bill sent to you via email.

Options for paying your utility bill:

• cash, cheque, or debit at the Town Office during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.
• Internet banking: add "Town of Pincher Creek (Utilities)" as a payee (some financial institutions have the Town's Utility account listed as Pincher Creek (Town): Utilities)
  • When setting up your account number for online banking, please use the 10 digits of your utility account number as printed on your invoice. Do not include the decimal point.
• Credit card online with OptionPay (please note that a third-party service fee applies to this payment method. Credit cards are not accepted in person at the Town office)
  • Be sure to include your full 10 digit utility account number as printed on your invoice. Do not include the decimal point.
• Automatic withdrawals from your bank account by completing and submitting the DEFT Application form
  • Find a copy here or visit us at the Town office during regular business hours
