2024 PROPERTY TAXES ARE OVERDUE

Please be advised that on January 3, 2025, a 10% penalty will be applied to all unpaid outstanding Property Taxes. To ensure the penalty is not applied to your overdue balance, payment must be received by the Tax Department no later than midnight on January 2, 2024.   Further, as of March 2025, any tax accounts with an outstanding balance from 2023 and earlier will be registered with Land Titles for tax recovery and possible tax sale as per the Municipal Government Act (MGA).
 
Payment options:

• In person: Pay by debit, cash, or cheque, at the Town Office, 962 St. John Avenue between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, or dropped off in the mail slot on the left side of the main office doors (no cash please).  Note: Holiday office closure begins December 24 at 12:00pm, reopening for regular office hours on January 2.
• Telebanking, internet banking, or at any financial institution: allow three business days for your bank to process; please take your bill with you.
• By post: Mail your check to the Town Office; it must be post-marked no later than January 2, 2025 – be sure to confirm with Canada Post that they have post-marked your envelope.
• Online: Pay by credit card at https://payment.optionpay.ca/town-of-pincher-creek/index.php before midnight on January 2, 2025.
